The Intertwining of Two Greatest Desires

This morning I read about something that saddened me deeply: a recent American horror story on Elisa Lam's death in Cecil Hotel (L.A.) which had spurred multiple conspiracy theories. It began as one of the greatest mysteries because the story was so perplexing with incomplete information. The infamous history of Cecil Hotel definitely made the case worse. You may find the full story here . It eventually turned out to be a doleful tragedy that hit me. She was a young 21 year old Canadian of Chinese descent hailed from Vancouver who suffered from depression, but her depression and fear eventually took over. She was so paranoid and wanted to hide from the callous world, and she had found the perfect place in the hotel: water tank. There you can imagine how the story ended: She was drowned and only to be found naked at the bottom of the water tank after missing for 2 weeks. Elisa's death has many uncanny and eerie similarities with the movie Dark Water, a Japanese horror fi...

Brief Light Candle

This post is written with a heavy heart. In just a couple of days, few people around me passed away. A manager in my department who had been battling with blood cancer courageously had put on a good fight. My cell group leader's dad passed away. My friend's teacher also passed away. Another friend's primary schoolmate's mom also just passed away. On the side note, my favourite football team Arsenal also lost to a weaker Greek side, Olympiacos 2-3 AT HOME, thus killing any real chance of qualifying out of group stage for Champions League this year (since the next two games are up against the Almighty Bayern Munich who have just trashed Dinamo Zagreb by 5-0). All in sudden, I am again reminded that life is too short. Too short to be sad and depressed. Too short to be frustrated and hold grudge against someone you have conflict with, or someone who has wronged you. Two days ago I've read about this from "Seven Things That Steal Your Joy" by Joyce Mey...

Interesting videos! =)

I've bumped into these two interesting videos in Facebook, which I'm going to share with you all! I bet some of you have already watched one or two of these videos, but here I am going to share my thoughts with you! =) First video is quite hilarious yet partially (or absolutely) true?  okay I believe lots of you have watched this video cause it's spreading insidiously like wild fire or epidemic in Facebook! So many of my friends shared this and me too couldn't help but to share! =p The script was quite funny overall, from Batman to Columbus! This is what the guy in the video ranted about being in a relationship with a girl, and he really sounded so experienced. I couldn't help it but in the end of the video I laughed so loud and even my housemates were looking at me, as if I were crazy! =p  But, are they (what he said throughout this short video) true, partially or entirely? I will say partially, because in my opinion all girls are different. I...
