Sunday Dinner (+ Property Talk)

The title of this entry might not sound enticing at all, but yesterday dinner was truly an exceptional experience to me. Me and my family went to Setapak, KL to visit my younger sister who was staying in UTM hostel, so we went out for a supposedly haste dinner at a hawker centre. As we arrived at the hawker centre, there was no free table available so we had to share the table with one of the tables with only one guy sitting there enjoying his meal. But it eventually turned out to be a meaningful dinner. If you know me well enough, I am a person who prefer to have meaningful conversations, conversations that can keep me pondering about various random ideas and hopefully leading to something constructive upon some deep thought process. The guy who was sitting right opposite us on the same round table, was a pensioner in his 60s hailed from Manchester, UK. I got quite excited and started to chat with him since I myself have just finished my study in Lo...

Lessons learnt from Pickpocket!

Wooohooo today is Labour Day! It's ending soon anyway and has practically nothing to do with me, except more time for me to study. So today I woke up late, just to be bombarded with a news that someone close to me had her smartphone being pickpocketed by some idiots, probably foreign immigrants, on her way going to Mid Valley for gathering by KTM. The smartphone was possibly one of the best and most expensive one (around 1.7k), Samsung Galaxy SII. This reminds me of the incident happened more than a year back to me, in March 2011. I bought a new phone (Nokia X6) a few months back before someone pickpocketed it from my loosely hanging pocket of my short, same place and same destination. I know it was my fault to put my phone inside that pant cause I wouldn't be able to feel anything since the pocket was not in contact with my leg. The incident should not have happened if I wore jean. Lesson 1 : Always wear tight pant/jean with pockets in contact with your body. It will be ha...

Farewell My Friends!!!! ~.~

10th of May 2010 - A very significant date to most of SPM'09 leavers as it is a day in which most of the students would end their 5 months long holiday and begin the new chapter in their life. As most of us know, some of our friends would be starting to register in their respective Matriculation colleges, while some of them would be starting to register in their respective secondary school to start their Form 6 STPM. Some of my friends have even reached the state of their Matriculation colleges and are now waiting for the registration day to come patiently, especially for those whose their houses are far in distance from the Matriculation colleges. For instance, some of my friends who are staying around Selangor state have already set their foot out and reached their respective Matriculation colleges in Kedah (ChangLun) and Perlis today. The main point I want to convey here is that, for those who have decided to go for Matriculation programme and Form 6 STPM, NEVER ever look back...

Why we must look for a JOB upon graduation?

We need to get a good job upon graduation, mainly is to afford our life, and improve our lifestyle. Graduate without any effort to find a suitable job, is totally wasting 18 years(approximately) of studies, time, efforts and parents' money. Our parents spent a lot on us, making investment on us, care about us with invaluable love for such a long time since we were born, and it's time for us to repay them once we are graduated, by working. Working is the source of money, and unless you were to build up your own business, eventually you would still need a job to gain income. Besides, we would have to work to build our career, to gain precious experiences and to fulfill our materialistic mind. I believe, everyone would have desires to buy things, to fulfill their materiality world, for example luxurious cars, huge bungalow, stylish watch, fashionable handbags, etc. When our desires are being fulfilled, we would feel the sense of satisfaction, and might be happy. Rome was not bui...

A Day Trip!!! ^_^

Oh, almost forget about one problem that i faced during JPA scholarship application a week ago. If i'm not mistaken, on last Friday, when i filled in JPA scholarship application form by online, I found out that the third column at the Sports activities/achievements kept on appearing as "TIADA". But in fact, i have chose "Lain-lain" as my choice. So, i had to amend it back into "Lain-lain" but it was futile. After altered it for three times, I was blocked by the JPA's technical system and i can't update anything by that time. I felt terrifying by that time and don't know what to do. Luckily, on last Saturday, my fifth aunt from Kuala Kangsar came to my house as she had something to do with the Ministry of Education in Putrajaya. She is a principal in one of the primary schools in Kuala Kangsar for your information. So, i may go along with my mom and aunt as well to JPA office in Putrajaya. So, on this past Monday, my mom took a leave and b...
