My Solo Trip to Vietnam v1 (Ho Chi Minh)

I’ve been back from my Vietnam trip for two weeks now but the memory I had in Vietnam was still vivid. Each time my friends asked me how was Vietnam, I found it difficult to put my two-week experiences in words. There are so many things I have gone through, from overcoming my fear of crossing the bustling streets of Ho Chi Minh with motorcycles coming from literally all directions, to riding a crazy taxi in Hanoi rushing back to my hostel to catch my sleeper bus ride to Sapa rice terrace. I watched my new found Australian mate riding an ostrich in Mui Ne for VND100k (~RM20), and I myself dived into the freezing water of Halong Bay twice with a rather less gracious posture compared to my friend working for a startup at Silicon Valley (my first dives after all). The memories put into the back of my mind was simply priceless. I know I will remember this trip for an extended period of time. Over the course of two weeks travelling alone, I had penned down a detailed record of my advent...

Three Updates of Summer 2013

As busy as I have been appearing to be, I'm going to keep this short and... sweet?  I'm thankful for everything that has happened throughout last year, and there are indeed lots of happenings which I acknowledgingly failed to update. But here are the top 3 that left the most vivid impressions throughout my Summer 2013.  2013 passed by me swiftly and now the first quarter of the 2014 is slipping by too. What prompted me to update this blog was my ironic nature to keep record of happenings in my life.  As I have started planning for the much anticipated Summer 2014, I see the necessary step to note down a few important updates of last summer before I completely forgotten any of them.  #1st Update: Brighton Day Trip with churchmates and friend (10 June)   Short summary, the fish and chips is of the best value for money! Cheap and tasty. Oh, and some memorable shots!  My travel partners (Cherrie, Mei Yeen and Christine)! =)  Backing t...

Lessons learnt from Pickpocket!

Wooohooo today is Labour Day! It's ending soon anyway and has practically nothing to do with me, except more time for me to study. So today I woke up late, just to be bombarded with a news that someone close to me had her smartphone being pickpocketed by some idiots, probably foreign immigrants, on her way going to Mid Valley for gathering by KTM. The smartphone was possibly one of the best and most expensive one (around 1.7k), Samsung Galaxy SII. This reminds me of the incident happened more than a year back to me, in March 2011. I bought a new phone (Nokia X6) a few months back before someone pickpocketed it from my loosely hanging pocket of my short, same place and same destination. I know it was my fault to put my phone inside that pant cause I wouldn't be able to feel anything since the pocket was not in contact with my leg. The incident should not have happened if I wore jean. Lesson 1 : Always wear tight pant/jean with pockets in contact with your body. It will be ha...

New Year Resolutions! =)

Hello people what's up! It's been a few days of chilling at the beach, enjoying the sea breeze like nobody else's business, in Kuala Terengganu! After 9 hours of travelling on the road, wooohooo finally I'm back at home! =p The infamous year 2012 is coming tomorrow! Yes it's tomorrow! Are you ready for it, to face the year full with devastating myths that the world is coming to an end, pushing human to the brick of extinction? The upcoming of the year 2012 tomorrow also literally means that today is the last day of 2011! What will you be doing on the last day of 2011, so that it could end the year perfectly, memorably? For me, I will probably just stay at home although I wish to go out somewhere and join the mass to count down, welcoming new year! =) Who says you can't stay at home and count down at home, with your dearest family? =)  New year resolutions, something seems to be outcast to me, suddenly struck me recently. I thought I should make a list of...

The trip to Perth was stupendous!!!^^ Everything seems to be stranger for me there, however due to my suitability to a totally new environment...
